KEYPAD CLEANING

SPILLS IN KEYBOARD

The links above will take you to other sites where I have found tutorials with more detailed information and pictures than I had here on this page. The tutorials not only have more detail but also have pictures to help you with the disassembly and reassembly of your keyboard.

You may not want to go through the process that they discribe and would rather just replace your keyboard unless it's a Sony. Sony keyboards are different and more expensive than the rest. They are also much better than the others and more reliable. I've been using mine for over two years now and have never had a bit of trouble with it, and no sticking keys. It even has the feel of a real computer keyboard which I like allot. If you decide to replace your keyboard, try to find a Sony. I don't think they are still making them so this may be difficult.

On the page about spills in your keyboard linked above, there is a link at the top of the page in a yellow square that says "keyboard sticking?". This link will take you to another page where you can purchase a new keyboard but it's not a Sony. You can pay for it using PayPal and order it right online.

I hope you find this information helpful.
